‘President Zuma to unveil a life size statue of OR Tambo’

President Jacob Zuma will tomorrow unveil a life size statue of struggle icon Oliver Tambo at the OR Tambo International Airport. The sculpture was created by local artists and they took about five to six weeks sculpting it from photographs of his face. Many women in the developing world die because the equipment needed to stop bleeding during childbirth isn’t always available. But to prevent this happening a cheap kit containing a condom is being distributed to clinics around the world.
