New Chief Justice of India SA Bobde visits Venkateswara temple in Tirumala

The new Chief Justice of India, Sharad Arvind Bobde, visited the Venkateswara temple in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirumala, on Saturday.

He participated in the Sahasra Deepaalankaara ritual, according to reports. Justice Bobde was sworn in as India’s 47th CJI on November 18, 2019 by the President of India at a ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

He succeeded Justice Ranjan Gogoi as the Chief Justice of India.
