Antisemitism is on the rise in France. Violence against jews and attacks on Jewish sites and places of worship are up by 69% this year, compared to the same period in 2017. This is according to figures released by the Interior Ministry.
This spike comes after a two year trend which suggested that antisemitic attacks were dropping.
The Prime Minister admitted that while the government was taking action, more needed to be done. This comes as Germany remembers the 80th anniversary of Kristallnacht.
