Asadenaki & Aza Lineage – Rockin’

As a follow-up to his single Go-Getta Medz , emerging reggae artiste Asadenaki returns with Rockin’, featuring the vocals of upcoming reggae singer Aza Lineage from the Lineage Family.

This is the first collaboration between the two and Asadenaki noted that this track is a celebration of good vibes inside the dancehall.

“I’ve always liked Aza’s vibe and wanted to work with her. Once we decided to do a song, it was an easy decision for the both of us; it had to be a couple up in the dancehall type of song. Rockin’ is a great reminder to enjoy the simple things in life and celebrates music’s impact on our culture,” Asadenaki told the Jamaica Observer.

Rockin’ boasts a rhythm that was created and mixed by Shaka “Gldn Eye” Girvan, a locally based producer originally from New York. Girvan has been producing songs with dancehall acts such as Agent Sasco and Barrington Levy as he gets a foothold in the industry. The production on the track received final touches at Anchor Studios, where it was mastered.

Asadenaki has been steadily carving out his own place in the Jamaican music industry by consistently churning out rocking music and creative visuals. His performance at the 2018 staging of Rebel Salute was well received as he had the audience roaring to songs such as Rebel and Go Getta Medz.

Aza Lineage recently released her single Black Madonna and has been pushing her brand by performing on the local circuit including Dub Club, Inner City Dub and Skyline Levels. Her work has been noticed internationally, having been featured on the Havana Meets Kingston project by Australian producer and keyboardist Jake Savona.

The single is now available on all major digital distribution platforms, including: iTunes, Spotify, SoundCloud and Amazon.
