Cubans rejoice as internet goes nationwide – for only nine hours

Cuba has started providing free internet to more than five million cell phone users beginning August 14. The service was an eight-hour test before selling the service soon. Some customers have been able to buy mobile data plans since December, according to the state-run telecommunications monopoly ETECSA.
