Iran, Russia to continue to protect Syria: Official

A senior advisor to Iran’s Leader says the country’s military presence in Syria does not hinge on what Israel wants. Velayati was speaking at a forum in Moscow. He said Iran and Russia will maintain their military presence in Syria to make sure terrorists will not resurge.
