‘Students play diabolos to pass on traditional culture in NE China’

About 900 students play diabolo together during class breaks at Donghua Elementary School in the northeastern Chinese city of Dalian.

Diabolo, known as Chinese yo-yo, is a traditional folk game with a long history, which tests the player’s arm strength and response speed. The school has been promoting the game for over 10 years, and it has gained popularity among the students.
