The US ambassador to the United Nations says there’s no doubt Russia meddled in America’s 2016 presidential election.
Nikki Haley also denied claims that she was contradicting President Donald Trump’s remarks on Ukraine, insisting both were on the same page regarding the conflict in the east European country.
The developments come as Congress and the FBI are probing allegations of Russian interference in last November’s presidential race. The Kremlin has firmly rejected the accusation. However conflicting reports continue to linger and overshadow the Trump administration.
Last week the US President’s former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn offered to testify in return for immunity.
