The National Training Centre for Dogs, at the Border Security Force in Tekanpur, MP is officially the ‘school’ sniffer dogs go to.

The dogs here are enrolled in a grueling 24-week training programme when they are four months old and by the time they complete the training, the animals can sniff out even a tiny amount of explosive. In the past, dog squads have foiled at least 16 terror bids targeting high-profile events.
