Syrian ceasefire fails to meet goal of aid delivery

The Syrian military has declared that the week-long ceasefire deal brokered by the US and Russia has failed, amid reports of violations and difficulty in delivering aid to Aleppo, a central aim under the agreement.

UN officials said a humanitarian aid convoy was hit by airstrikes on Monday. The convoy was delivering assistance for nearly 80,000 people in the town of Uram al-Kubra, west of Aleppo. CCTV’s Bill Neely has the story from Aleppo.
